This class is designed to give students exposure to the materials, tools, and terms used in the built-up roofing world.

The purpose of this class is to hone the students skills in the principle parts of BUR roofing: crickets, penetrations, mopping and felt layer work

The focus of this class is ensure the basic math skills necessary to calculate roofing footage for material use as well to introduce the student to the world of specifications and print reading. Students will study “print & spec” terminology as well as reading different plans
